Default Moss Spider tameable

Since its somehow easy to get a Black widow now (They are runners for that) and the Charr homeland would be quite alike to PreSearing, it won't be a crazy idea to suggest that the PreSearing Moss Spiders became charmeable, and one of the Charr area animals where the Moss Spiders.

Easy suggestion, easily done.

Eh, the black widow is no more "easier" to get now then it was before. The runners are still clearing everything in the quest.

Eh, but not a bad idea. Who knows what pets GW:EN will bring?

You assume all the pre-searing creatures werent all killed during the searing! But you'l just have to wait and see what creatures they add into the GW:EN.

I quite like this...if the moss spider is available in pre-searing it would be great provides a bit more variety to the pre-searing part of the game, giving more variety to those who enjoy playing in Pre-searing. i.e. LDoA people

Animals have some sort of sixth sence, one can often see animals fleeing from area's where disaster is about to happen

Some snow rabbits(hare) would be nice in GW:EN

Until someone comes along with the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch ...

Its the spider is only charmable in pre-searing, then it may cause problems for people who like the spider as a pet, but want to complete Endangered Species. But how many of these people exist ?

On the other hand, more pet options means more variety on the rare occasions when I see someone with a pet.

Damn! You beat me to it. Ugh!

I would like to see pets have more diverse abilities in GW:EN, though.

Well, actually, [wiki]Carlotta[/wiki] is the animal companion of [wiki]Shadow[/wiki].

And Striders(Moas) and Melandru Stalkers survived.

Bears seem to move to Southern Shiverpeaks and Wolves to Northern, but all of them but the Moss Spider survived.

I just think that they being R2 Moss Pider instead of Lvl 2 Moss Spider and not being charmeable is dumb, but they can't be charmed unless you add another source out of PreSearing, since all the other animas have, and you need to have a melandru stalker for a quest, so you won't be able to keep it and make it.

Ad anther source, and done!

Runners make getting a black widow pretty, well, not-elite nowadays, and I WAS originally disappointed to find out that I couldn't tame pre-Searing moss spiders.

I doubt it'll change, but /signed.

There are some areas with up to 3 different pets, and many with two types. So that should not be a problem.

I've always wanted to see the Moss Spider available, and would enjoy it if they did do it like that with the Charr.

Of course! It would have no sense to have Shadow have a Moss Spider in Post-Searing, but only available for players in PreSearing! That's why I suggested to add it also tho the Charr homeland.

Maybe there could be another at level 20 after available after quest given by shadow in Denravi, so you have to travel to the falls to get one. Shadow and her spider gide you, you have to protect them, and after some white matle whipping, you unlock a Moss Spider much like you unlocked the Black Moa in Echovald.

Agreed. I think a few pets should be harder to get. The Black Widow is no longer a real sign of...awesomeness...anymore so I'm /signing it.

However, the moss spiders, (in my opinion) need to look different from the Black Widows...just to distinguish (the lynx and the stalker are essentially the same, just look different, so why cant the spiders have different skins?)
